Another busy week at the Open Centre! Renishaw Primary have held a faith week using our mobile exhibition and through various cookery and marriage workshops.
Newhall Community Junior School got a taste of some fantastic asian cusine in their cookery workshops.
Great Hucklow used our faith trails to explore different places of worship and said “Really accomodating for our late arrival – thank you. We have all learnt a lot from today. A fantastic visit!”
St Johns C of E Primary School in Belper sent staff on some CPD training using our faith trails.
We also had a visit from St Martins in Derby, who said “A very comprehensive explaination” in their visit to the Hindu Temple.
And finally… Carlyle Infant School travelled to Jamia Mosque to learn all about Islam.
