Schools and Visits – Week Commencing 11th April 2016

WOW!!!! What a great but busy start to the Summer Term!!!

The week began with William Allit Secondary School bringing the first of six groups of Year 7 students to visit the Hindu Temple, Sikh Gurdwara and to take part in a Marriage workshop. We look forward to seeing them again in the coming weeks.

Dallimore Primary School took part in a Faith day where the children listened to an Islamic Faith talk in the morning followed by Passover, Haj and Marriage workshops throughout the rest of the day.

St Mary’s First School came to the Open Centre to visit the Mosque, Hindu Temple, Sikh Gurdwara and also took part in a Marriage workshop in the afternoon.

Meanwhile South Darley C of E Primary School brought 58 children to visit the Mosque and take part in our Marriage workshops.

The week finished with St Augustine’s 1st School bringing 35 children to see the Hindu Temple, Mosque and Sikh Gurdwara whilst Parkview School visited the Orthodox Synagogue in Nottingham.
