A brilliant month for the Open Centre with a 20% increase in visitors compared to this time last year (and we were only open for two weeks due to the Easter break)!
On Monday William Allit returned for their final visits this week of going to the Hindu Temple and the Sikh Gurdwara along with a Marriage workshop.
On Tuesday we had final year B.Ed students from the University of Derby who came to explore the Mosque, Hindu Temple and the Sikh Gurdwara. William Gilbert also brought 33 children to those places of worship as well.
Wednesday was a very busy day with four different schools visiting. Carlyle Infants and Newton Solney Infants visited the Sikh Gurdwara whilst Chasetown Community School visited the Mosque. William Allit were also in that day.
The week finished with Friesland School returning with 53 of their year 7 students to see all four places of worship in Normanton (Church, Sikh Gurdwara, Hindu Temple and Mosque).
