We hope you all had a lovely break for half term…?
There was no time for staff to rest at the Open Centre this week, as we saw over 552 visitors. This is a HUGE increase on last year where, for the whole month of November we saw just over 700 visitors. We have a further 400 expected next week too.
It is great to see so many schools getting involved with learning about different communities!
Here are just a few comments from the schools this week;
Teacher at Rididng’s Infant and Nursery School Commented;
“Lots of good information and children enjoyed dressing up.”
Teachers at Weston – on – Trent Primary School Commented;
“A lovely welcome. It was good to see worship. The children enjoyed the workshop and found it interesting.”
“Excellent talk and insight. Really clear, positive and engaging.”
Teacher at Sharley Park Community Primary School Commented;
“Thank you for welcoming us all and for allowing us to visit. The children loved the opportunity to dress up and experience the mehndi. Thank you very much for making our visit so enjoyable.”
