St James Junior School came over three mornings to see and learn about how the Qur’an is important to Muslims at the Mosque.

Church Broughton also visited the different places of worship in Derby, whilst Heanor Langley Infant School visited the Orthodox Synagogue in Nottingham. Their teacher commented… “The Rabbi was brilliant with the children, explaining everything to them at a level they could understand and he really helped cement the children’s prior learning on Judaism.”

Finally the week ended with All Saint’s Infant School from Matlock bringing their Year 2 children to take part in faith trails and workshops.

Catherine Lee – Teacher Commented

“Very prepared, calm and professional staff, clearly used to working with children. Very clear details and good involvement.”

Another 300 children are expected to visit us next week to learn about faith, religion and diversity.
